Madelyn Ilana practices Herbal Medicine, Reiki and Body Dialogue™  -- a unique form of somatic healing work focused on alignment, releasing tension, and breathing. Madelyn uses gentle touch to provide a sense of deep relaxation, opening the body to greater flow and vitality.

She holds certifications in herbal medicine from both the Florida School of Holistic Living and the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine in Siskiyou, CA. She teaches annually with the Florida Herbal Conference as well as the Southeast Wise Women’s Herbal Conference and has created and taught Young Herbalists homeschooling programs in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Her Reiki practice began over 10 years ago, and is deeply connected to her Tai Chi training with the Tao Institute locally. Madelyn received her Reiki Master certification from Lisa Toney, LMT in the summer of 2017. 

Madelyn has been a student of Body Dialogue™ creator, Janice Stieber Rous, since 2012. Janice and Madelyn have facilitated workshops and retreats together in Florida, North Carolina, and online. 

Madelyn is also a professional violinist, singer/songwriter, and recording artist. You can find her latest album, Awake Dreaming anywhere you stream music digitally. 

She enjoys making time for painting, hiking, organizing community events and teaching private lessons on violin, guitar, ukulele, and singing.
